I am an educator and a parent. I am good at what I do, I bring an expertise based on LOTS of experience but I am not anymore important than any one team member. I am blessed to get to work with so many people in the trenches and I like to roll up my sleeves and get with the people instead of stand on some pedestal. I can speak with authority but that authority comes from having done the same kind of work as your staff with the same types of challenges.

I personally facilitate over 100 parent engagement programs per year. The expertise that I bring to the table is not based on what I USED to do. It is based on what I JUST did. I have seen almost every barrier and opportunity for parent engagement but by doing it every week, I stay current on what has worked and what is coming in our future for parents.
INTERACTION NOT AN INTERRUPTION
My job is to keep your staff from thinking they have better things to do. It is our goal to provide the best training your staff has ever experienced on any subject. I will use a few slides but I do not believe in “Death by Powerpoint”. Strong Fathers training is famous for being interactive and full of humor as well. Education is a serious business but it is also a funny business. People need to move, talk, and laugh for a good training to take place and we always ensure plenty of each in a full or half day training.

Foundations of Father Engagement
a six hour on-demand course for stafF to learn the foundations of father engagement.
Through the use of different sections, short videos, and quizzes your staff members can learn at their own pace. You can trust the process that uses metrics to see which videos were watched by participants and see grades on section quizzes. Once a participant actually finishes the videos and completes the quizzes they receive a certificate to verify that they have competed the course.
STRONG START EVENT KITS
We have done it ourselves and we have trained lots of educators just like you to do the same.
This kit is a simple yet extensive package of four academic dad and kid event programs. You can use this kit throughout the year to engage more fathers and families with minimal effort and at very little cost per program.
This kit contains everything you need to easily provide these programs for your families. From promotional materials and sign-in sheets to detailed timelines and step-by-step instructions we have given you everything you need to facilitate successful Strong Fathers events.
The Strong Schools Event Kit was developed by J. Michael Hall, M.Ed, the Founder and President of Strong Fathers. Mike has been a special education teacher, a middle school and elementary principal. He has done these very same programs in hundreds of schools over the past fifteen years. This kit was built with the busy educator in mind. Hundreds of school teachers and early childhood professionals have been trained to use this kit successfully.
Other professionals have also been successful by just using the kit.
These events have been used to consistently bring in more than One hundred families per event.
